Divorce Mediation is an opportunity to avoid the risks that come with placing the fate of your family in the hands of the court. It maintains the privacy of certain aspects of your marriage and family. Most importantly, it saves you and your spouse (and your children) from the astronomical cost of litigation. By engaging Columbus mediator and lawyer, Jessica King, the parties cut down on the time and cost associated with traditional divorce.
Jessica will study all relevant facts and legal issues related to the controversy. Drawing from her extensive litigation experience, Jessica will help the parties understand the risks and options associated with pursuing a case to trial.
Jessica can help the parties resolve issues related to custody, support, division of assets and liabilities and other unique issues presented by the termination of your marriage.
Jessica King believes a successful mediation must include the following elements:
-Patience and steadfast persistence
-Thoughtful listening to the parties' concerns
-Effective and controlled communication
-Awareness and acknowledgement of common ground and/or intention
-Transcendent understanding of the parties' personalities and emotions
Jessica combines all of the above components to successfully guide clients away from the expense and disruption of litigation and toward a win-win result in settlement.
